Braid Crown & Side-pinned curls

Alas, another made up name for another random hair shpeal I did. I must be pretty darn creative since I still have so many hair ideas that I'm dying to try and see how it looks in real life. That being said, if anyone wants to be a hair model for the purpose of our blog, please let me know, my hair isn't nearly long enough to do ANYTHING with and I don't always get the chance to see Chelsea and Kaitlyn.
Anyway, here's what I did to my hair last night. I was bored a week ago waiting for people to come over for a girls night and ended up doing something similar to this, so last night I tried to recreate it. I came pretty close.

So basically I did one french braid at the front of my head then did three normal braids that just chilled in my hair.. I don't know how else to explain that bit.

For the most part I hid the elastics by tucking it into the curls. Anyway, what you'll wanna do is pin your hair to the side of your preference and then curl it.

Et VOILA! A braid crown with side-pinned curls!

Side note, this is what I did a few weeks ago that I tried to reproduce.

Double Braid Side-Bun

After doing the waterfall braid with ChelC-3p0's hair, I decided to try something else to turn the down-do into a more elegant up-do for the lavishly classy folk.
Or simply for those who are equally as entertained by hair as we are!

Waterfall Braid

So we decided to experiment with the waterfall braid; managed to do a couple need things with it, but for the basic gist of it, we ended up working with the straight and the curly! Just for the record, I used chelC-3P0's hair this time to try it out.

Clearly, they both look really well. I personally think that the curls would be better for a more formal occasion, regardless, it's really simple to do so you could definitely put it together in under 10 minutes. We hope you like it!

Crown of Braids

I don't know if the intention of this blog page was to give tutorials on how to do hair or just to put pictures and explanations of hair styles we've done. However, I did my best friend's hair last night and it looked awesome! I literally just combined normal braids and french braids and had them intertwined and inter-braided to make a sort of head-band/crown effect with her hair. I hope you like it!

On a side note, we also made those earrings; a list of materials and a brief tutorial with pictures will be going up sometime this evening :)
